Wow, it was a great movie. Go see it.
That said however, I remember why I only see only one movie a year in the theater – the movie experience pretty much sucks now.
Teresa and I spent $18 on two tickets and easily another $14 on popcorn and a soda. So, for $32 we get to sit in a theater and before the movie even begins, we get to watch commercials. Yes, we paid to watch commercials. Something does not seem quite right about that. I don’t pay to watch NBC, because the commercials subsidize the programming. HBO does not have commercials, thus you must pay to watch that network.
So, by that logic, if I am supposed to sit through 5 or 6 30 second commercials before the movie begins, shouldn’t I get the ticket for free? I sure think so!
